Wireless Network Prob

I have a wireless network at home. My comp is the guest comp. And I have a range expander. My network doesnt have a security password.

Everything work well b4 but now it's very unstable. It's usually disconnect suddenly when i was playing or working now.

I dont know if some1 leeched through the connection or it's the hardware problem ( too old or something ) or it is a virus in my computer. It's very messed up now.

If it's some1 leech through, how can I set up the network's password.

If it's the hardware problem then which part I should replace ( the range expander, the modem or the router )

Pls help. Thnx in advance .

you have to setup security in your wireless router. Check the instructions that came with it for more info or post the exact router model here.
