another wireless connection problem

I have a computer that I bought from a company called Shuttle, and using their wireless kit thing. And at first it was great! I can play my online games,and go on the internet. Then suddenly I couldn't connect to certain online games' servers I have. And a few months later, I woke up to find that my computer's interent didn't work for a weekend. And now it doesn't work AT ALL.

The problem with my situation is that I am living in a college dormitory so I am not able to configure my the routers here at all. I'm using a friend's laptop at the moment and the internet works fine on hers. Meanwhile mine just stays it's connected, and no matter how many packets i've sent, it recieves 0 for the past few WEEKS.
