uninstall windows media player 11 beta
does anyone know how to uninstall this?

Not sure if you can "uninstall" it completely but you may be able to roll back to a previous version via the add/remove programs list.

Here's a link to uninstalling WMP 10 when it's was in Beta. Could work for WMP 11 as well.
http://www.auditmypc.com/uninstall-m...ayer10beta.asp I wouldn't use beta software unless your prepared to reinstall your operating system. Beta software is for the guinea pigs to work out the bugs. |

in uninstall, tick "show updates" to ON

man i thought they were supposed to be getting better at making it easier to remove windows media player off your sys, guess not

I should have worded that different
in control panel, go to tool for adding/removing software. (I am on my Dutch box, and don't know all menus by heart) anyway, there is a tickbox in that box, tick show updates to ON after this, you see Mediaplayer 10 (and 11 if you have it installed) as UPDATES. it rolls back, no problem by the way, I just installed 11 loaded a long list, and then did things I know make 9 do these hiccups not a hiccup...
