A conversion issue...
I am in need of a picture converting programs. All my pictures that I get off the internet using AOL downloads and is saved in ( .art ) format. I need an application that can convert them into ( .jpeg ) format. I just upgraded to win xp pro, and I need my pictures in ( .jpeg ) format in order to see them in a slide show. Does anyone know of such a program?

Apparantley this can be done with AOl's own software Instructions here http://members.aol.com/oldnelly77/page9.htm Either that or rename the image.art to image.bmp Then open image.bmp in Irfanview which is free and may be obtained http://www.irfanview.com/ Save the image.bmp as image.jpg Another image converter is Formati II available at http://jansfreeware.com (click graphics in the left hand side menu then scroll the resulting list until you reach formati II Take care and let us know how you make out
