I've tried to start up my computer (A 2000 professional recieved from a family member without disks) and things were running fine untill Monday afternoon.
I attempted to start up my computer and it loads past the first 3 screens (HP, press F8, Windows 2000 Pro) then comes to the Cyan sceen where the login box is supposed to display....but then it stops. I don't get the log in box.
I've attemped to start in all 3 safe modes, only to get a black screen with Safe Mode in all four corners, and have tried at least once every other thing in the Press F8 option screen. Anyone else have this problem and make it through?
