Hi - This is one of my last resorts just asking people how you actually reinstall IE6?? I have tried a couple of things I found through Google.
One was canging the binary digit from 1 to 0 in the Regedit then downloading IE6 from the MS site.
However, when I try and intsall it I get "Setup has detected a newer version of IE already installed on this system. Setup cannot continiue."
Maybe doing that Regedit thing didn't properly uninstall it?
Anyway the reason I wasnt to reinstall the whole IE is becuse it crashes... when you do certain things
especially when you do stuff with the sidebar
for eg it crashes everytime I click say favourites... then folders then favoutites again
BANG everything just dissapears
And the wierd thing is it happens in windows explorer as well
but I guess thats no surprise since its pretty much like IE
Bt I thought reinstalling IE will fix this sidebar bug?
worth a try I just need know how to do it

UPDATE: Just got a bit more info if it helps... well it's definetely related to sidebar/exploererbar - favourites and folders. I was fiddling around with these clicking back and forth between them (what I'm usually doing when it crashes (no reports usually btw)) but this time after clicking folders I get this

So I'm not sure if that will help anyone, for me it just makes it more confusing!
