Human rights groups are raising alarms over a new law passed by the Iranian parliament that would require the country's Jews and Christians to wear coloured badges to identify them and other religious minorities as non-Muslims.
"This is reminiscent of the Holocaust," said Rabbi Marvin Hier, the dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Center in Los Angeles. "Iran is moving closer and closer to the ideology of the Nazis."

Great idea. We should have that here. Only our badges would identify morons and idiots from people that actually use their brain for something besides holding their ears apart. But, alas, thinking more about it, we would have way to many designations like stupid, dense as a tree, 2 bricks shy of a load, elevator doesn't go to the top, etc.
But as soon as we leave Iraq, I'm sure they will be more than happy to join in.
Does Monkey Boy really want to get involved with Iran. Yeah, let's convert them as we have done in Iraq.:dizzy: Just as our military is 75 years of tradition unhampered by progress, the Middle East has a few thousand years on that.

Is this a good excuse to invade Iran or what? Maybe, but imagine the controversy there's going to be if we don't invade.
"Oh, you can save Muslims from a dictatorship, but when Jews and Christians are persecuted in Iran, you stay the hell away?"
Of course, we all know Seņor Bush hates Muslims, Iraqis, Mexicans and "black people", why not add Jews to that list? But I doubt he'll leave his precious fellow Christians out in the cold...time for another war...

Funny how nobody has complained about the badge system employed by the Isreali's against the Palestinians.
You can spot a Palestinian easily, they are the ones standing behind that bloody big wall that got built through their villages!

Speaking for myself, it seems we really don't need a real good reason to invade anyone. It's at the whim of our leader. I shudder at the thought.:dizzy:
Israel/Palestine. A pinhead of a country squeezed between Egypt, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Lebanon, and the Mediterranean Sea. And then the Arabs and Jews divide up that tiny space in the most irrational of setups. This land is my land. This land is my land. (Both speaking. Sorry.) Their biggest problem is no elbow room. They can't expand. They are stuck living together but separately and hating every minute of it. It's like if I really disliked Pensacola, I could move to Mobile. That nation will always be at odds.
The whole Middle East will never maintain any semblance of stability for any length of time.

You say badges, I say pieces of flair!Peter Gibbons: Doesn't it bother you that you have to get up in the morning and you have to put on a bunch of pieces of flair?
Joanna: Yeah, but I'm not about to go in and start taking money from the register.
Peter Gibbons: Well, maybe you should. You know, the Nazis had pieces of flair that they made the Jews wear.

TEHRAN, Iran -- A draft law moving through parliament encourages Iranians to wear Islamic clothing to protect the country's Muslim identity but does not mention special attire for religious minorities, according to a copy obtained Saturday by The Associated Press.
The 13-article bill received preliminary approval a week ago.
On Friday, the Canadian newspaper The National Post, quoting Iranian exiles, said the law would force Jews, Christians and other religious minorities to wear special patches of colored cloth to distinguish them from Muslims. Seems early reports were bogus.
