ok so i decided to get a wireless connection and here we go...
My PC says that Im connected to the access point on the router and have a excellent signal strength, but it says its not connected to the internet. No website will load for me. I've tried using the windows wireless connection repair feature and resetting the modem and router multiple times but that still wont help. Does anyone know my problem? The internet works fine when using an ethernet cord for me, but I cant figure out how to get a wireless connection working.
Please help me I'm desperate.

Could be a DNS issue. Are you using DHCP or a static IP for your pc? Once connected to the router can you run ipconfig and post the results. To do this go to start then run. type cmd and press ok. type ipconfig and press enter.

ok ipconfig worked but i still dont know if have a static ip or dhcp so maybe you can tell from these results
ip = 192.168.1.100
subnet mask = 255.255.255.0
default gateway = 192.168.1.1

Can you access your router config by typing 192.168.1.1 in your web browser?
Do you have a Linksys router by any chance? you could try to set up a static IP and DNS to see if that works. To do this go to start, connect to and show all connections. right click on your wireless connection and go to properties. click on tcp/ip and click properties. Set a manual ip address of something like 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.99 (I said these ranges because the DHCP of Linksys routers are set from factory from 192.168.1.100 - 192.168.1.150) Set the subnet to 255.255.255.0 and the default gateway of 192.168.1.1. Then enter 192.168.1.1 as your preffered DNS server. click ok and click ok on the next screen. If the internet still doesnt work you can to the same process again and set everything back to default in the TCP/IP properties.
