Networking Issues - 0.0.0.0
Yesterday, after I woke up and booted up my PC, a message that said something such as "An IP conflict has occured with another system on your network," disabling my entire internet connection. At first, I suspected a virus had somehow done this, and I did find a Trojan virus after scanning, but removed/fixed it.
However, that is far from the end of the issue. I tried rebooting, restarting, unplugging the modem, router, and internet cable, but nothing changed the fact that I still had the error, only proving that it was my PC causing the issue (none of the other PCs have this issue). It seems like it shows a 0.0.0.0 as my IP address even though my static address remains and is present. I've looked up for some solutions, but so far, it hasn't really helped me (and I'm not sure on some things, even, or how to access them.) So, yeah, could anyone please help me here? Thanks a ton in advance. |

Quote:
If you are using Static IPs then check the other PCs on the network to make sure you have assigned different IPs. If you are using DHCP via a router then goto the Router config and look for the client table and clear it if available. Then goto your network connection, right-click it and choose repair.
