internet Hookup

I have a mac powerbook that uses a dsl modem to connect to the internet wirelessly using an airport. My son just acquired a dell computer and we want to be able to connect that computer to the internet using the dsl, but not wirelessly. Can anyone tell me how? Do I have to have another dsl modem or can I connect his computer to that modem and still keep the modem connected to the airport?

Hi kamteach5 and welcome to CTH.

If you are connecting wirelessly from your make it means you don't have a basic router. My guess is that you have a modem/router combo and if that is the case then you are in good shape. Can you give the model of the modem and we should be able to figure out what it can do?

My mac is connected to the internet via an airport/modem which is connected via a dsl modem. I don't have the model number here at school where I teach so I will have to reply when I get home tonight. Thanks for your reply.
