Explorer Performed Illegal Funtion: Will Close now

On myspace Explorer crashes and closes when I go to certain profiles... or even ifI check friends lists.. there must be something in the loading process that occurs

What the hell does this mean below?

have you already updated all the CRITICAL updates at MS update? (I remember the service pack for 98 I had to install two-3 times, If installed once My comp. would reboot at exactly 3am every morning once I finished off the update by going back and redownloading and installing it quit)....

I wouldn't know. I know a Few months ago I did go to MS and did critical Updates.. but don;t remember which ones.

go there and rescan and download every critical update it asks for Also if u download any Non-critical updates DON't download the critical update advisor program as the tenth of next month MS will quit support for 98 98SE and ME. So no need..

lol triple post..wow refresh showed me no-triple post was on the server so download until you can't download no more-Critical updates that is..

Can't find them on their website, and using the windows update from the tools section takes me to a Windows update site that seems to be mentioning Win 200 and XP but not 98

its says Administrators Only at the top of the page too

u need Administrators privelages or be on the Administrators account..

I don;t see why I wouldn't have it/.. this computer is a home computer there are no other profiles only the administrators.

I know I only am the one on my computer so its automatic administrative privelages...

Same here, this computer is shared by me and brothers, but we never made profiles for ourselves just stayed on one.

is the MS update working and or did you have everything installed already and don't forget to reboot when done downloading..

No its not working cause it telling me Administrators Only when there only is the mmain Administrators profile on this computer.
