I cannot adjust my screen resolution higher than 640 b 480 (16). Plus on the System properties>performance, it stated that Drive D is using MS-DOS compatibility mode file system, yet I didn't partition my hard drive, I don't know where does Drive D and E came from. Last week I had a problem with my hard drive and I removed it off the computer so I can return it to the store for replacement, then I install new one, actually, it isn't new, it is my old computer hard drive. So since I install the hard drive, I couldn't adjust my resolution to higher number. I can't even see the graphics very clear. Can you guys please help me how to fix this kind of problems.

Go back to the Performance and make sure
Disable all 32-bit protected-mode disk drivers
is not selected.

The reason your screen is 640 X 480 is there is no driver for
the graphics device.

If the new hard drive already had Windows 98 on it then your going
to have to reformat the hard drive and reinstall windows 98.
(I am assuming that hard drive use to be in another machine
other than the one you've just put it in)
