Not sure if this is thplace to ask but here goes any way!

I decided to be clever and shrink my C: partition (Win98) from 9Gb down to 6Gb and create a 3Gb partition for MP3 and OpenMG music files (so they were all together in one place).
Everything went fine, although as expected it shifted all the other drive letters up one so I spent a couple of hours changing registry settings and program options to get them pointing to the right drives.
Then I thought I'd better try Linux (Mandrake 8.1) only it stopped with an error something like "Kernel panic can't find partition" I can't remember exactly but it was something on those lines.
I use Acronis boot manager which starts Lilo (thats the way its always been) but when I search for the Linux boot it can't find it.

Is there an easy way to get Linux back, I haven't had time to stick the CD in to see if it can sort itself out, but as I'm online I thought I'd give you something to think about!!

TIA

One successful way of dual-booting Win and Linux is by using BootPart (www.winimage.com/bootpart.htm).

Edit: Oops. I just noticed you're using Win98. Did you put Linux on it's own partition?
