IRiver MP3 Player scatching sound?

During some of the songs that I play back there are some loud scratching sounds that are in the same area of the songs each time I play them back.

Any idea what that sound is from and how to fix it? I can listen to the downloaded mp3 from the computer and the scratching sound is not there.
