MP3 Hosting?
Let me start off by saying I am not a musical artist, nor do I make music. I just need to know if there is any place I can host some MP3s for free for use in a music player on myspace. I need a place that can host them with a direct URL so I can use this for the path of the tag for the player. Can anybody help?

Not many free hosts support media file types and usually have a file size limit.
You could go for budget hosting. 34sp.com is £17 per year. Streamline.net is £14 per year (2 year) with a free 3 month trial. Proper hosts like these will not have any restrictions or ad's. You could look around for free hosts. It's trial and error with them. http://www.mp3-host.com/

my friend just puts them on freewebs. they seem to have an acceptable bandwidth allowance. if you upload 128kbps mp3's, the file sizes will be relatively small also.

I use www.filelodge.com
Unlimited bandwidth, although you have to regiter. It also gives you the embed codes to play the songs.
