and the bear must be white....the house is located on a pole, right? so, must be a polar bear....

And, of course, you'll light the match first....how else would you light the others without lighting the match first?

OK, alot of you know the answers, but some people may not know why. Here are all the correct answers, and there explenations (i am good at these things!)
1) Yes there is a 4th of July in England. This question is referring to the actual date, not the American holiday.

2) The average man (infact, all men, and women) have 1 birthday-the day they were actually born.

3) Well, if the man is living, u wouldn't bury him alive (ahh!!! I've been creamated!!-poking fun at Buzz's stupidity and lack of spelling knowledge...)

4) You would, of course, light the match first.

5) All months have 28 days. The question means ATLEAST 28 days. Some months also have 30 days, and some also have 31.

6) Yes, tramtwo, you would take the first pill as soon as you got it, remember these are hypothetical questions. Take pill 1 at 12pm, pill 2 at 12:30pm and pill 3 at 1pm. The third pill lasts until 1:30pm, so the total time is 1 hour and 30 mins.

7) Ok, if each window has a southern exposure (faces south), then the house must be built in the north pole. Therefore the bear must be a polar bear, so it would be white. However, ploar bears are rarely found in the north because of a lack of food.

8) A dog can only run halfway into the woods. after it reaches halfway, it is running out of the woods.

9) I would guess that United States of America is right, but i don't since since i'm an Aussie.

10) There are 6 outs in 1 inning of baseball and softball. Say team A bats first. they all go out. that's 3 outs. now team B bats, in the bottom of that inning (the second half). they all go out, another three outs for a total of 6 outs. The inning is finished only when both teams have batted and fielded once (assuming that they play to the end of the inning, and the game is not cut short because of time limits/washouts)

It is possible for the last innings of the game to only have three outs!

Top of the last innings, Team B leading.
Team A scores no runs in top of innings so team b is still leading at bottom so does not bat, game is over, there has only been 3 outs.

I'll stick with my answer for number six, the questions says to take a pill every half hour, if you want to start right away, great!! But don't come crying to me when you have run out of pills!!

rememeber smurfy, these are HYPOTHETICAL questions, it means they are based on normal, everyday situations with no abnormal elements, so we are talking about an average, normal inning. Sure, you COULD bury that poor man alive (or creamate him LOL), and you COULD say that there was a bushfire, and the dog didn't run into the woods halfway, but that is just being stupid. An average inning in baseball or softball has 6 OUTS, no washouts, no natural disasters, and none of your crap. Oh, and tramtwo, you could take the first pill 1/2 hour after u got them, but what if they are the pills that save your life? you'd be dead before u even got to take the first pill. If you had a really bad illness, and the doctor gave you pills, i'm pretty sure you would take the first one right away. Besides, even if you do it your way, the pills still only last 1 1/2 hours, because from the time u get the tablets, till the time u take them, you are not being 'protected' by the tablets anyway. Well, I've had my say. If anyone disagrees, I'll argue with you too!!!! LOL
