Paypal/Ebay/Amazon..."Not found"?

Well, This has been an issue with my computer for about 6 months now and I finally decided it was worth looking into. I have literaly no idea what it could be, and no one else I have talked to has an idea either. I am posting here and on other forums as a last resort before taking it to a computer repair place due to the amount of money they would charge me for what will probably be a small fix.

My problem- On my computer whenever I try to go to eBay.com, amazon.com, and paypal.com it says they aren't valid URL's or that the websites can not be found. It does this no matter what browser I use, and I have done everything imaginable to try and fix it. As of now I have no clue on what I should do, or if their is even any hope.

If you can help me with this problem, any little peice of advice will do, please do so. I need the help desperatly.

Give an indication of what you have or haven't tried. It will save the rest of us time and effort.

I have flushed/reset my ip, Uninstalled and reinstalled firefox and opera (The 2 browsers I use), I even got a new router from my ISP thinking it might have something to do with that.

The sites do work on proxy servers though, if that helps at all.

What Internet Security are you running?
Have you tried disabling it?

You could try a repair of IE. It may reset certain security settings.
You could also try repairing the TCP/IP stack.

Because IE is integrated into the OS and the fix repair OS system files aswell as IE files.
