Question NT print spooler problem

All power was lost to the building during last week's storm in the Carolina's. Everything is back up but we can't print to one of our networked Lexmark printers. It is ready and responds to all ping, etc. commands. Starting and stopping the print queue did not clear it. Can I manually delete all *.shd and *.spl files in the spooler? Another suggestion? Thanks.

PS. I looked at shares with server manager. The path for this printer says "lexmark1, localsplonly". I've never seen this before.
