downloading issue

hello.. i recently went through your list of XP tweaks (the pinned thread) and changed some stuff, but i don't know if that is what is effecting my problem..

downloading: i can't download a certain file, the macromedia flash 8 trial..i click the DL link, it loads,, comp lags a bit after it loads, but no download pops up asking to open/save, like noraml. nothing happens besides for some comp lag. it may be the macromedia host itself, but i doubt it.. i can download other files, but not this one.. my cache size is 300mb, so that isn't it. any ideas?

what error message are you getting, also how much free space is on your harddrive?

what error message are you getting,
none, i hit Download, it shows signs of connecting ect, (movement of the bars at the bottom of the browser), but after about 5 secs of that the comp lags a bit, and no download.

also how much free space is on your harddrive?

ah, i went back to Macromedia (now Adobe) and tried to dl it again, worked. this post can be closed now :) thanks for the help
