IE6 always goes to windows update and not my home page.
Hi,
Thanks in advance for your help. Whenever I open Internet Explorer, it always goes to windows update. I tried most things like turning off automatice update, and etc. Still it goes to windows update and not my home page. How do I stop this? thanks, rta007 |

Hi
Bring up your homepage. Then go to Tools/Internet Options/ and click on the Use Current Tab.Apply and OK Last edited by Pancake; June 9th, 2006 at 04:04 AM. |

I have same M$ demanding Windows update be my homepage. Have tried the tools/options step, have set it in registry, and other things, restarting after changes and it always goes back to the "update" homepage. And to top it off, none of the downloaded updates will install.
Any ideas?? Thanks |
