I want to put a form on my website. When the user clicks the SUBMIT button, I want the contents of their form to be sent to my email address. How do I do it?

You'll need a formmail program.
Most popular with be either PHP or PERL.

If you don't have PHP or CGI on the host then your stuck with
only one way to submit and that's with mailto:
form action="mailto:your@emailaddress.com?SUBJECT=I like to send email from webpages"

The only problem with mailto: is if the user hasn't configured
their default email program then the mail won't be sent. So
many users use a web-based email like Hotmail. So mailto:
will not work, it'll just bootup their Outlook Send interface and
that will be as far as the email goes.

Also using mailto: will popup a few warnings within WindowsXX
warning users about unsecured this and that. Many users get
nervous and close all the interfaces down.

Fire off an email to your host provider. They quite often have a built in script for you to use and complete directions on how to set it up.

OK...I didn't quite give up on this.

I got some code from a friend that he said should have worked. It didn't When the submit button is clicked, the following message appears:

Cannot run the FrontPage Server Extensions on this page: "http://www.nearsports.com/Forms/scorpt_2.htm"
I am an html code novice. I know what I need to get by. apparenlty that's not enough in this case.

I am going to print the code here and hopefully someone will spot the problem for me. Here is the page address for reference:

This game begins Tuesday so I have to fix this really quick. I appreciate your help. Gonna have to put the code in another post. It's too long.

Using the Front Page method only works if the server you are using has FP extensions installed and available, so you need to check your hosting company's site/email them and find out if they do provide this

If they do not, How can I modify this code to have the form sent to my email without the front page method?
