s-video transfer help
SO, my television is not s-video-compatible.
My goal is to extend my laptop screen to my television monitor, so I can multitask on my laptop. I have a Harman/Kardon amp/system. I tried running the S-VIdeo out of the laptop and into THAT, then used AV cables to run into the television. I got nothing. Is it possible for this to work and I just made a small mistake with the wires or setting, or! (my question) is s-video to av cable transfer incompatible? |

Once you've plugged it all in, press Fn+F8. As for the cables, make sure you use:
an S-Video input on the receiver. composite output on the receiver. tell the receiver to accept s-video and output composite, if needed the "A/V", "Composite", or "Input" channel on the TV
