ok so i set up a wireless network the other day and its all fine and dandy...im using it now. where i live in the summer tho it will leak into other homes and this could be a problem. so, consequently, i would like to password protect this network...what is the best way to do that?? i have very limited knowledge about things such as "encryption" *** is that? all i want is for it to be passworded

You have to enable WEP encryption on the network. It should be simple to do using the setup program that comes with most wireless routers. I have no experience in actually trying WEP encryption, but i know that's what you have to do.
