IE 7.0 Where is the address bar?

I can't remember exactly what you call it but yeah its the bar you type the websites you want to go to in. Im confident no one here doesn't know what im talking about by now. I ugraded IE to 7.0 and everytime I open the the thing that damn bar dissapears within a few seconds. Even if I click on it and start typing in it, it will jsut dissapear in the middle of typing. It also always wants the homepage to be the windows update, not what I set it as.

Well...please keep in mind that IE 7.0 is still in beta mode. There are still bugs in the system with it, and that is why you are having issues. I am not going to test it now...I will wait until it is not so buggy still.

The address bar should be right underneath the part of the top where the ''minimize/maximize/close'' buttons are.

Try and right click on any part of the bar and in the drop menu hit "Lock the Toolbars"
