Firefox Scrolling

I have a ner Acer laptop with a touchpad pointing device with the right and left buttons and a center button that can be pressed up, down left or right to scroll. When pressed, the cursor changes to a smaller arrow over a small scroll bar. The scrollings works fine in IE or when browsing My Computer. In Firefox however, the cursor changes, but it doesn't actually scroll.

Has anyone heard of this? Please let me know if there is a solution.

hmm..i never used my acer scroll button, i just used the touchpad settings, (in control panel, mouse settings), and went about setting up the scrolling in there.


btw, your acer has 3 partitions not 2, the 3rd is the system restore d3d i think, if its anything like mine. (from your other format thread)
