Free Firwalls

I have just upgraded and need to put a firwall back on, I was using sygate free firwall but can't seem to find the download. If I can't get this one does anyone know of a good free program. I tried zonealerm and couldn't get on with it.

Zone alarm is your best bet as Sygate was bought out by Symantec and they are no longer allowing downloads of it..

zone alarm is one of the best free ones. I don't know what problems you had whether it be inexperience or just did not work with your system but you may want to reconsider.

However, you can go to download.com and do a search for firewalls to get a list of them. Each will have some sort of rating and user reviews. Some may have editor reviews.
