I use Yahoo IM everyday but this when I logged onto my computer it won't let me logon. yesterday i did get a message saying something about "should I allow a particular connection or not" and it was associated with the Yahoo IM. I allowed the connection and now am wondering if this somehow altered my firewall/proxy connections. Any thoughts?? Oh and by the way, when I logged on to Yahoo IM through my cell phone, it went through OK, so it's just when I try it through the computer that it is not working. Thanks!

Hi, did you manage to sign-in after "allowed the connection" and now your messenger works properly? If yes by allowing the connection you just put yahoo messenger in exceptions of firewall so nothing to worry about.
