I am having a problem with office. we have office xp but it got corrupted or something and it says that the patch can't be found or something and just keeps trying to reinstall. I try to uninstall it and i get that same message and it won't uninstall. Now every time i try to install office it freezes before it opens. know what to do?

Howdy:

Have you tried using the Office cd and running a Repair??

problem is that she has xp trial on computer and we are trying to install 2003. There is no way to repair since it's different version I don't think. The cd auto runs and when i go to type in the key at the beginning it freezes every time.

Have you tried booting into Safe Mode and un-installing??
