Direct x problems

I am having a hard time downloading and installing Direct x on my XP home system. It is my copy but had to put it on two diffrent comps and now on this one i cant register it so I can download a better verision of direct x. Also does any one know how i can get my Trident Video Accelarator 96xx938xx to work. Just to let you know im not that computer savvy can fix most problems but most are above my head so give instructions easily please.

You have 1 copy of XP and installed it on 2 different computers?
You registered XP on one computer but can't register it on the other computer?
The non-registered computer is the one your having the Direct X problem with?
If your answer is yes to all 3 questions the only thing I can advise is to get yourself another legit copy of XP and your problem will be solved.

to activate xp on the second comp use the original key ansd do phone activation, just say that you formatted and itwon't let you activate online and they will activate it for you
