This is a tv-related problem as opposed to computing - but it shouldn't be that hard to resolve. I'll keep it simple, or try to.

I bought a brand new tv a while back, problem being it only had 2 SCART connections in the back of it. That is a problem when I have:

A PS2 & A Video Sender which both use SCARTs and it means that I've had to leave out my DVD player for some time. My PS2 can act as a DVD player - but a very poor one, it's very jumpy and glitchy, despite there being nothing wrong with the lens or disc surface.

I had a similar problem downstairs, where I had two scart connections and had to run a Sky box, a dvd player and a karoke (not my own!) - so I went out and bought one of these.

A 3Scart-to-1 device.

This is meant to be the thing to resolve the problem I am having - but I installed it and all was well until a few days later I went to put on a dvd. The dvd player didn't turn on and I didn't understand why. Went and got it fixed and it was known that the fuse had blown - plugged the whole setup back into place and like the time before, I heard this 'clicking' noise coming from the DVD player, needless to say, a few days later and the fuse had blew again.

I don't fancy blowing any fuses on my PS2, Video Senders, TV or my dvd player - so I would ask that someone who has combatted a similar problem, would give me some advice or recommendation in regards to a product.

It's not practical for me to pull the tv out everytime I want to switch everything over and I'm hopeful there's an easier way to have things - without handing out £££ everytime something or other breaks down.

Thanks.

I have seen somewhere something about bending one of the pins over as it cocks up the connection.

I'll see if I can find it.

Edit:

Here (http://www.avforums.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-221801.html) is the link I was referring to.

Edit 2:

Sorry I don't think this link has anything to do with it.
