I'm not sure where to post it but I think it goes in this forum.
Recently, in some games I've been playing, I can barely hear the music but I can hear sound. When i max the music and sound, the sound is loud but the music isn't though other people say it is. In another game, some songs are louder than others but it shouldn't be..

I'm not sure if I need an update or what update to get so I posted some screenshots of dxdiag.. can you help me? I have windows xp

A driver update may help but I would say if your serious about your gaming disable your onboard and get an Audigy card.

Go to majorgeeks and download Everest so as to determine exactly what onboard chip you have.
http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4181
Run Everest and look in multimedia>pci/pnp audio. Post the description of your audio device.
Also post the motherboard info.

Post the make/model of your computer. Your motherboard's name came up unknown in the Everest report.

I went to Intel and the site refers you back to your computer's manufacture for an updated driver. Went to E-Machine and the driver they have available was the same version as you have now.
Did your E-Machine come with the Big Fix program?
If so you may want to look in there for an updated driver.
