Question My Direct X 8.1 doesn't work right

I recently installed an ATI Radeon 7500 64MB DDR video card to my computer and that was a challenge in itself, because I had to reboot Windows XP and lost everything I had on my computer. Well, my new card worked pretty great for about 20mins when I was playing one of my games(Star Wars Jedi Knight II)then it started acting up. It doesn't freeze up or anything but the graphics look really weird. Triangle size patches appear everywhere and the picture kind of zooms in and out. I thought it might be the game, but this happened with another game that I have (FIFA 2003). I ran a DirectX diagnostic and tested Direct 3D , well DirectX 7 runs fine , but when DirectX 8 comes, on the cube that you are supposed to see in the middle kinda of expands out of shape and kinda flickers. I am guessing that the problem lies in the DiectX 8.1 that I have, because nothing else seems to be affected. can watch DVDs with no problems. Please if anyuone knows what i can do, let me know. Perhaps you know of a way to uninstall DirectX. I would appreciate any help. Thax.

Hi coria21, welcome to CyberTechHelp!

If you go to this wonderful site (Wonderful Site) you can download a DirectX uninstaller. Reinstall DirectX afterwards, and let us know if it fixes things.
