blured fonts on tft. fedora core 3.

hi. i'm new(ish) to linux. i've boaught a philips 150S tft/lcd to be used with fedora core 3. it's works ok only the fonts look really bad,. i've tried following a few walk threws but they're to hard for me to understand.
this is the contents of my fonts.conf file just in case you need it.

i don't think i have TrueType fonts on here either. i did try and install them but not sure if it's workded.
any help would be really apreciated. i'll never get it done on my own.
