Lately I have been seeing .bin & .iso files around (especially on soulseek). What are they & how do you use them?

.ISO is a CD image file, and .BIN is a binary file. File XT (http://filext.com/) is a good place for looking up file extensions.

Many downloadable programs come as an ISO file.
