help with ports...

ok im using utorrent, and have a linksys WRT54GX model.

i went to advanced on the control panel of my router, enabled the port for the program with title. Yet when i click test port on the program, it says failed every time because it says "Checking port 29224 on *****ip here*** which is my internal ip not router ip...

Error! Port **#here** does not appear to be open.

you should not have had to adjust your router unless you wanted to upload. The ISP might even be blocking that port. Try returning the default setting and see how that works for you

Also turn off any software firewalls you have on your pc to check to see if its that causing the prob.
