Hi guys, could you please help me with this problem?
I have windows XP PRO SP2

ok here is the problem. I just bought new processor, new video card, new motherboard and new memory sticks.
AMD 64 4200
1GB DDR RAM
NIVIDIA GeForce GT 7900 256MB

I have a linksys router at home. I want to connect to it with the new motherboard.

on the old motherboard, the router recognize my ethernet PCI hardware right away. So when I went to control panel > network connection, I can see the network there (the name says: LAN or local area network)

But by the time I get new new stuff installed, i reinstalled windows XP and go to control panel > network connection again and NOTHING'S THERE, i mean I dont see ANY network for me to click on.

So I wonder if i have to set up my router on the other computer again (the main one that the router connect to)

Please help, Im desperate :curse:

What do you have for a new motherboard?
Do you have a PCI network card? If so is it seated completely on your motherboard?
