As mentioned above, NVU is great. I also like BlueFish.

I'll try that now kage.
I have managed to save web files that I thought I had lost, I just downloaded the current one from my server, But I have still lost about a weeks worth of coding, but still have lost 2years of course work. But I'm going to start to do all my coding on Linux and backup onto dvd every 3days. I will have a look at both of them and use the one I like best ![]() Thanks |

I too am a bluefish lover. Good call Kage
A close second would probably be (as much as I hate java) eclipse over at eclipse.org

Maybe you should look at getting into the world of Emacs or Vi? You should definitely check this out though.

VI is awesome, I prefer it over Emacs and use it to edit html/php pages via ssh all the time (going to try not to get into a VI vs Emacs war :P), however, sometimes it is really nice to have syntax highlighting, as it helps you not to make small mistakes such as <a/> instead of </a>.
Just my opinion.

Compareing Vi & Emacs. For someone not trying to get into a war you're on dangerous ground
