Thanks again for all your help in the past.

I would like clarification on this item please:

http://www.pricegrabber.co.uk/search_techspecs_full.php/masterid=9798261

I have a PC at home running winxp home. I have a USB ADSL modem for my broadband connection at the moment. I would like to setup a wireless network with a second pc also running xp home allowing internet connection and also, occassionally connect using my works wireless laptop Pc running winXP Pro.

In the future I may change my ISP who may supply an ethernet modem.

Would this item above be my answer?

Ideally a modem router would be better so I would not need to have my host PC on to connect to the internet all the time/when I need to get net access. If I could find the above router in a modem router version that may be my ideal answer but for the fact my ISP sofware would be expecting a USB modem so I'm not too sure if this would work.

Obviously I would like to know before commiting to buying.

Any help/advice would be brill

Thanks

You should be able to scrap the USB Modem and replace with a Wireless Modem Router, providing you have a Network Card in your PC.

Once the Wireless Modem Router is configured, it will connect to any ISP, except maybe AOL, which can be a pain !

Thanks for that Wizard. - It works a treat but can't get to grips with the rudementory firewall settings on the router,
