Hi, I currently have two Desktop PCs. The main pc connects using a Quest DSL modem and the other uses a Belkin 11 Mbps Desktop Wireless Network Card. Recently the wireless card has stopped connecting for no apparant reason. I have setup the network between the two pcs and it had work before. On the pc with the network card there is a utiltiy it uses called "Belkin Wireless Network Utility" and when I first used i set up a "profile" with it that set it up with the network. Now when i go to see the status of the profiles it only shows me the profile but will not let me use it. It also says that my ip address is all 0's. Is that supposed to be like that or is there no ip address that is all 0's? Anyway, I am starting to suspect that the network card is either broken or that the cord that plugs into the back of it has broken due to that it will not connect. Could someone please help me fix this problem?

-Thanks in advance:cool:

How are the two computers networked? Do you use a wireless router? To see if the wireless network card has any sort of issues you might want to go to device manager to see if there is a ! or ? beside it in the list.

They don't use a wireless router and in device manager it says that the card is working perfectly.

Ok I just got my wireless card working by detaching the antenna from it and reattaching it but now it will drop the connection randomly and then connect again.

If there is no wireless router in place what signal is the wireless adapter picking up? In order for them to be using a wireless adapter there has to be some device on the network broadcasting a signal so the wi-fi adapter can pick it up then connect to their network.
