I just got DSL here at home. I want to do a wireless network. The signal has to go approximately 60 to 65 feet. The signal has to travel through 5 walls of which, 2 are brick. I have a office on the west side of my garage, thus the signal having to travel through brick.

Will it work and can you suggest the best router to use with pci cards.

Thank you.

You are going to have a heck of a time getting that connection stable. Most wireless signals don't work indoors for much more than 100ft... but thats through wood and drywall. I would say you should get a range extender for both ends with at least a 5dbi gain.

As far as routers... they should all work with PCI cards. The only concern with routers/PCI cards is using special protocols such as Super-G. But if you use the the standard protocols you'll be fine. I personally recomend the Linksys WRT54G.
