I have an Addon GWAR3000 4 port wireless ADSL router. I have 4 PCs on the network via ethernet cables. I can ping other PCs on the network through the router, however, I am unable to connect to the router itself. I don't know whether the router's IP address has changed (the default is 192.168.1.1, but I cannot connect to the router via this address). Ifit has I have no idea of trying to find it out.
I have tried resetting the router but to no avail, and I am completely lost now as to what to do.
Another point, might however be completely unlinked, when running ipconfig I have two IP addresses for this and another PC on my network. The information is as follows:
IP Address: 192.168.1.2
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
IP Address: fe80::201:6cff:fe37:f182%5
Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1
Thanks

What ver of Windows do the PC's use? As for the ip address of
" fe80::201:6cff:fe37:f182%5"
That is just the ipv6 or "internet protocol ver 6" of your currnet ip address. Windows XP pro after service pack 2 has the ability to use ipv6 along with an internet connection gateway and a slew of other options. Most of them aren't needed but as with service packs that get installed and well you see the result. That shouldn't be keeping you out of your router however. Based on the output of your ipconfig /all the ip address of 192.168.1.1 should be your routers address and thus let you use the web browser to login.

Aaaah, ok, didnt realise that was a ipv6 address! Cheers for that. All PCs are running Windows XP. I have tried typing "192.168.1.1" into the address bar in IE but I still cannot access the interface. Is it possible that the router address might have changed? If so how can I find it?

From the user manual...
5.2 I can’t connect to the Gateway.
1. Check to see that the power LED is green and that the network cables are installed correctly; see the quick start guide for more details.
2. Make sure you are not connecting the USB and the Ethernet port at the same time. You must only use 1 interface at a time.
3. Make sure that your PC and the gateway is on the same network segment. The Gateway’s default IP address is 192.168.1.1. If you are running a Windows based PC, you can open a DOS window and type IPCONFIG; make sure that the network adapter that is connected to the Gateway is within the same 192.168.1.x subnet.
4. Also, your PC’s Subnet Mask should match the Gateway’s subnet mask. The Gateway has a default subnet mask of 255.255.255.0.
5. If this still does not work, press the reset button for 10 seconds. This will place the Gateway into its factory default state. Go through the above procedures again.
6. Make sure NAT is enabled for your connection. If NAT is disabled you the Gateway will not route frames correctly.
A link to the manual can be found in this post (http://www.cybertechhelp.com/forums/showpost.php?p=502113&postcount=6).

I have checked all of the above. The only thing is, I'm not sure as to how to enable NAT. Otherwise, all of the above are correct. I'm just at a complete loss as to what to do!

So at this point you CAN log into the router? If so when you log in and nav around can you see a page like this...
If so do you see the tab that I have a mark beside? That would be the tab you want to click for firewall and NAT settings. My question is as of today is can you connect to the internet from any computers behind that router? In other words is that problem that you can't log into the router or that you have no internet?
