I just installed PeoplePC onto my comptuer last week. Since then...my computer can't enter standby I get "Conexant HSFi V90 V92 56K PCI Modem" is preventing the computer from entering standby. It also states that if the problem persists that I may need to update the driver. As soon as the window pops up that states all of this the cursor becomes invisible and the computer has to be turned off manually. Now then, I've called PeoplePC tech support and they refuse to help even though the problem didn't start until the day that I installed their software. This computer was always on dial up before so I'm assuming that it shouldn't have been affected. But I don't know what to do...I'm mad and want to flick the PeoplePC guys in the forhead with the flexible part of a fishing rod:curse: . If anyone can help, that would be just super.
