Ironside. You will love it. Its great. May be a pain to get all your hardware installed at first. I only had problems with my modem. The rest went great....
Junky, you'd love it......

Hi to you too ironside. Great os, which gives you two choices of install. If you are not sure at the start, just upgrade your present window system. Then for one reason or other you can just go to add/remove in XP and remove it and automatically go back to your previous windows os. Clean install does not give you that choice. Partition i am afraid...but it is a great os...........highwayman

Just don't buy your copy of XP from Microsoft Germany, they've managed to duplicate the product keys (http://theregister.co.uk/content/4/22651.html) so some of the copies they're selling aren't activating

Barium and a CAT scan, ugh! I don't mind typing 'em up but I hate to see you have to have it! It'll be over before you know it, though.....and then onto your install! Hey, I'm kind of interested in this thread, because on another board they had a thread about XP and not one good thing was said! But I sure do find........with any OS, there sure are a lot of varying opinions out there! Me, I still have 95 and I'm perfectly satisfied! Am I crazy?

Harrie, 95 well you might as well have 3.11
I hated first edition 98 hated 95 with a passion liked 98SE and loved ME its crash proof for me any way.
still don't know about XP im putting it on my server computer because its easier to redo if I have to and if I like it that well I might later get upgrade for my personal computer.
I will keep every one posted because im really fair about testing stuff out.
