Attention Deficit Disorder. This is the most recent post on this affliction that seems to crop up more and more here.

Degs pointed it out and I started thinking how could a topic on Malware removal comparison in Applications get me to e-mail Eset?
Are we not starting new topics to address problems/questions or is it merely a, well while I'm in this thread I might as well say what I want to say whether it's on topic or off topic.
Not bashing you BM, I too had that same error with NOD32 in safe mode and am very curious what it's about.

you can bash me all you like..;) ... im a tough cookie on the outside but sometimes a bit gooey on the inside..
. i was curious as well..i think we got a bit carried away though..... it happens.. i mean i dont want to be tapping away and be blown to pieces by a superheated pc...... think of the mess:D
Its all in an effort to help// think of little ladies in a tea shop.." Hows bob."
well hes ok.. hows tom.. not so good....one question leads to another and before you know it.......... its a human flaw i believe..... cant keep our minds on the subject:D

BM should know as she has had a temp ban for it before. We do ask that in the tech help forums, especially the Comments & Suggestions forum, that the thread topic is adhered to.
We know that this cannot always be possible and that sometimes a better discussion can prevail, but in some cases it is just pure hijacking. Members are warned before a ban. Some don't listen
:)
Posting for postings sake and hijacking a thread get annoying if you are trying to keep things in line, such as posts in the correct forum etc.
You then have to decide whether to leave the full thread or split it so that the original topic gets the attention that it deserves.

That describes it in an nut shell. In replying to a topic, one can easily put in a remark enforcing their comment but swaying to another point entirely. Then that stray point is taken up by another and runs with it until the next reply.
I honestly believe most is not malicious but just human nature when trying to get one's point across. Lines cross but not from evil intent. But, alas, some do. No one is perfect while others create their own imperfections.

you know, I have not seen superman returns yet. Maybe when it comes out on dvd at christmas. :rotflmao:
Seriously, Personally I think everyone here has been guilty of it at least once. Its easy to do when in a hurry for whatever reason and skims the message. One thing to consider, since not all visitors are english speaking as a first or second language sometimes mistakes can be made as to the topic of the thread.

No one is perfect while others create their own imperfections. While I don't want to encourage this group, I could not let this go without highlighting it. I may have to borrow this line [if Nick doesn't object], even though I'm still pondering its full meaning. :D
