Installiation Help...

when trying to install linux it say enter the swap partition..what do i enter??

In Linux, 'swap' space is the same thing as 'virtual memory' in Windows. For more information on what this does, check this wikipedia article.

When you partitioned your hard drive, did you create a primary partition for your linux installation (ie: a / partition) and a smaller (200-1000MB) partition for swap space? If not, create a partition that is as big or twice as big as your installed memory, and select it as swap space.

Out of curiosity, which linux distro are you installing?
