Lately I've been using WinMX (http://www.frontcode.com/) for downloading stuff.

As for free webspace, there's a few still about, but you might want to look into what you ISP offers for free!! :) :) :)

for free webspace, the best i've found so far is http://www.0catch.com/

i use this one myself for our pogo.com pics and have 17 meg up now with 30 meg more to post.

they give you 100 meg free and 20 meg of bandwidth per day. you can check here for others but i don't think you'll find anything better for free.

image hosting as in pictures ?
i guess so since i have over 200 pics posted now.
the site where i play casino games and chat is pogo.com. the chat room members wanted a place to post their pics so everyone could see what they look like. i've been webmaster for that site for over a year now. was on geocities but they will no longer handle the traffic without charging me so i moved the site a month ago to this new host.
if you're asking if they will host nude pictures -- i think not.

I was thinking more along the lines of storing images on their website, and using the image url's at other sites, kinda like using images on bulletin boards etc. :) :) :)

ok -- i assume you're refering to hotlinking and/or posting to tgp's

sorry , but they don't allow either. not many sites out there that do any more, except for a few adult hosting sites.

Discogail, I've seen others using Boomspeed for hot linking, but it alway's seems so slow to load any images, at least it's that way here!! :( :( :(
