and, I have all this surplus cash at my disposal and, not a damned idea what to do with it all. So, I just toss it in the bank and sit on it till times of need. I pay bills to things that I've become dependant on but, don't really need in my life and, for what little pleasure it gives me.

Why is it that people work all their lives and, amass a great fortune but, have absolutely no idea what to do with it themselves? I remember when, I had a large amount of cash to my name, I spent it all on something that would break constantly so, I basically bought the hype instead of a quality product.

I think in the real world very few respect or, gives a damn about an earned buck. Makes me wonder sometimes..

And, no I'm not gonna give anyone money.

enjoy your money, once you die its worthless to you.

trust me when you earn what you have, you value it more.

Lot of things I want but few things I need.
What I have now is all that I want.
Can't look to a big inheritance. The richest relative I have bought a new
house recently and I had to help them take the wheels off.:D

Why not give some of it away? Or at least donate to a cause. If you have more than you need whats wrong with sharing it? Believe me there are folks out there in real need. I'm not talking about the bum on the corner that just wants to get his fix, but familys, mom's and dad's that can't put food on the table. I don't have much myself but what I do have I share because you never know when the day may come that it could be you that needs the helping hand. So cast your bread upon the water my friend. Not only will you feel really great but it does come back :)

Chryssi, that's the best advice yet. Go and see the world Jer, it's the best education you'll ever get not to mention the stunning sites, the friendly young ladies and most of all, the realisation that underneath it all we're basically the same the world over.h

Thanks for the replies asking to helping other's in need but, just throwing some cash at problem oversea's to me, doesn't feel like a fulfilling experience, even with pictures and progress reports, if I really wanted to help the needy I'd be smack dab in the middle of it all handing out supplies or, building infrastructures.

Originally, I was speaking rhetorically about business. How people will hype a product just to increase it's overral appealing "value". You guys know what I mean, those infomercials, super bowl commercials, ect. You look at something and think, it'll actually be wonderful instead it's not so much. When business' do things like that I get the idea that, they just don't respect earned money, instead they look at it as ticker tape in a parade, people say you'll never know if you tryed, so I tryed now I know and, it was a gimmick.
