Installation Errors ...

Hey,

I am having trouble installing any new programs on my laptop..
Initially the installation begins, then it promts an error, saying there is a error in relation to "Temp C" and then terminates the installation...
This error occurs with any software installation i try to perform.

Can anyone help me..

Computer Specs - Toshiba Satalite, OS - XP.
