Im using an excel version that might be from overseas. At excel, the top Tabs A-Z usually run from left to right, but in this version their running form right to left. How can I change it back to the English/American settings?
Thanks

Did you try while in excell open data Tab, then right-click on AZ and check if it's default and/or reset?

sorry I didn't quite follow this.. Also I should mention that when I open a file from work, it opens in the normal format.

When you open any file in excell there are a lot of tabs, who help you work with the file....
Like: file, edit, view, insert, Format, Tools, Data, window & help.
Check data first otherwise try with help...
