Cd Labels
How does a CD operate in the drive of a CD player. How is it driven and what forces are on it? If you were to stick a label on the top with ordinary glue would the paper be torn off and damage the drive? Is it necessary to use preprepared labels? Are they self-adhesive anyway?

I know someone that does alot of CDs but he doesn't like to use the CD labels that you use with a stomper because they can come off. I suppose if you get a high quality set of labels they would be OK. It isn't recomended to just use glue and a normal paper label on a CD as it can come off with heat in extended periods of use or make the CD unbalanced causing vibrations especially in high-speed drives.
